
Victor was raised in a Christian home in the city of Kazan, Russia, where his father was a pastor and his mother the Sunday school director. When Victor was just a year old his father was a pastoral intern at Moscow Bible Church. Victor was baptized in 2008, on the same day as his future wife, Anna. Both Victor and Anna became involved in youth camps and ministries.
Victor attended a Jewish school in Kazan, where he became acquainted with Judaism, Jewish culture, and the basics of Hebrew, graduating in 2011. That same year, he entered the Russian Academy of Justice to study civil law. Victor has earned a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and a postgraduate diploma, focusing on human and civil rights and freedoms. At the same time, he studied online for a year at the Bible Institute of South Africa, specializing in preaching. From 2014 to the present, Victor has been practicing law.
In 2016, Victor and Anna were married, moving to Moscow in 2018, where they almost immediately began attending Moscow Bible Church. They joined soon after, and together they have been involved in leading youth ministry since December 2018. Victor was elected as an elder in the church in 2021, and continues to serve in this capacity. The Ivanovs are known at Moscow Bible for their hospitality, generosity, leadership, vision, and genuine care for people.
Currently, Victor is the head of arbitration practice of an international consulting company, Prospectacy. He often helps Moscow Bible Church and even individual members with legal matters.
